I own a 2000 EK9 Rx and looking to buy a B18 and have managed to find one but i need to know a few things. The B18C type r engine is taken out of a jdm 96 spec integra dc2 and has a few parts removed from it like :
injector rail, f/p regulator, ignition leads, throttle position sensor, alternator and crank pully.

I need to know weather or not the B16B stuff will fit no bother and if they do what else will i need to fit it to my EK9.

Help anybody please? :nice:

AFAIK they will. There basically the exact same block although I wouldnt be sure about the crank pulley....

Is it me or does everyone want a B18C engine?
I have one and I love it!!!

Anything that this new engine has not got, you already have!:nice:

All your parts will fit on the b18c!

The only thing you will need is a convertion harness for the ecu as your's is a facelift!

wont you need a b18 ecu? pretty sure you will, and like said above think you may need a crank pulley to due to the higher torque of the b18, may be wrong tho....

u get my pm about ecu?

hey mate you sholud be able to get the ecu remapped my mate with the b18c del sol had his done. it is recommended that you do upgrade to the b18's though hope this help

A B18C or regular EK9 pulley will be required/highly recommended IF the B16B is an N1 model with the N1 non-dampened pulley.
