Description:

The mother of all B series exhaust manifolds, good for very high comp B18 or built B20.

This was a custom order Hytech header made for a 12.5:1 B20 vtec. It has a 2.5'' collector. It has built in anti-reversion chambers. It will make more power throughout the rev range over any other manifold.

It cost just short of £1000. They are $1300 plus shipping plus taxes from Hytech USA.

It has £70 worth of Thermotec heat wrap on it.

For asking price I will include one brand new OEM Denso O2 sensor (well, 180 miles old).

This is how it looks now.

Had one very similar to this and the gains they provide are very very good on high comp builds

But for this to fit an EF you need to modify the front crossmember, or get a traction bar.

so its not for a EF then ;) dose changing the traction bar let you fit any manifold?

Would this have good gains on a near standard B16B?

Currently got an SRS manifold with a skunk full system and was just wondering if this would be much of an improvement or does a standard engine not warrant the extra flow this would give?

Cheers

It is but isnt in a round about way.
Fitting a traction bar gives loads of clearance for manifolds etc over the stock cross member.

Sorry I don't see it having much gains on a 1600, it is a pretty big manifold and is designed around an 1800-2000cc cc engine, even on a stock b18c I don't see it it giving much gains across the rev range.

Cheers for the honest answer mate!

thought it might be a little big for it, going to give solid fabs a call about a custom manifold and see what the damage would be.

As much as I'm not a huge Tegiwa fan I think their Toda rep mani is hard to beat really, good quality and proven by both the original Toda and the numerous copies. Fair play to you is you want something original, I would take that route of money was no object but in therms of £/hp they are hard to beat. Curious to know how much a proper custom mani would cost!

Yeah its not for the snob factor or anything its just nice to have something unique :)

Got an email back this morning from Alan at Solid Fabrications, its going to be about 500 - 550 for a long run custom 4-2-1 manifold or slightly less for a 4-1 set up. Also said he could do one in Ti but was a case of if you have to ask you can't afford it!

Sorry for the threadjack Tahir!

Still for sale, nobody building a big n.a b series who wants a serious manifold?
