after i finish rebuilding the top end of my b18C6 i am planning on putting a set of cams in and getting the car mapped, however i don't know what i need as yet.

i have a jdm P73 ecu in the car and a P28 P2T ecu from the original VTI engine.

it's a year 2000 ek4 vti and has a year 2000 ukdm integra type r running gear conversion

i was wondering what i need to get the car mapped and also who to entrust with my car for the mapping thats not at the other end of the country?

thanks
Lewis

also current spec of the car is

J's racing tsuchinoko intake
skunk2 valve springs and retainers
skunk2 high compression valves
Spoon thin head gasket
ARP head stud kit
Hondata intake manifold gasket
70mm tapered throttle body
Mugen 4-1 2.5"
Mugen twinloop

still to decide what cams to go for

Where are you located? BTW a P28 ecu is from a d16 sohc vtec not b16a AFAIK its a p30 which is for a b16a either way a p28 can be chipped and mapped using crome or the likes. If your in the UK id talk to EK9Turbo on here hes the man for hondata.

oops in which case it's a P30 :nice:

i'm in the uk not far from edinburgh

If your willing to travel then Hondata for Will/Ek9Turbo.

If not then Henry Roy near Ayrshire is **** hot, he maps crome or DTA. DTA is around the same price as Hondata.

Also skunk2 stage2 cams (Y)

WILL aka EK9turbo is the man for you mate, trust me it will be worth your traveling!:secret:

Go for a MoTeC M4.
You wont be dissapointed.
Best ECU money can buy.

yea another thumbs up for "Henry Roy" here :nice:

mapped my b16 build via "crome" and was pleased with his work

How much would I be looking at for each + mapping? Also are there any disadvantages to crome over hondata and vice versa? Can crome do launch control?

Thanks
Lewis

S300 is more advanced and more of a stand alone unit than the Crome, still not 100% stand alone though IIRC.

If you wanted a more advanced ECU but to stay in Scotland Henry Roy will also map DTA management.

PM'd :nice:

And thanks for the recomendations guys.

PS> DTA/MoTeC/OMEX/GEMS/AEM/HONDATA no problem.
