Crazies Nine


Class the 5 was way nicer imo but whatever floats ur boat dude am what are the wheels on the 5 and the white wheels on your nine they both look nice?

So a few months ago I bought this
 
Big fan of yellow cars (especially yellow EK9's), but the VSM EK9 looked way better.
Too much black/carbon parts just don't go well with a light colour imo.
 
I couldn't agree more I think it looks cheap and it doesn't really look like a real 9 your right about carbon looking better on dark coloured cars too as this does look a bit like it's been in a front end smash lol! I put these pictures up before I realised I don't actually have any of the way it looks now, I only have parts of some of the bits done like the headlights

Then the bonnet that was crappy paint so I had it sprayed along with some standard wings and boot lid

Then I had my buddy clubs referbed in candy red, not to everyone's taste, in fact some chick recently called it a beat up bright yellow piece of crap lol! I made a yellow one on gt6 that was my inspiration, I've only got one picture of the car the way it looks now and it's not a very good one but I like it :)

Not sure on the black front splitter and the carbon defuser but I defiantly love it now :D

Looks cool man. Candy red wheels look good. Nice change from the norm. As above though, think it would look cleaner/tidier with painted lips :)

was tempted to buy it myself when it was up for sale

but i was thinking of parting it out and keeping the shell as a spare :p
 
Put a lot of effort into it, the Recaros went in today so loving life now feels like a real nine! Thanks dudes! Really like the rear lip in the picture painted but not in the centre looks good I'm going to do it and the front one.

One more EK9 saved (and dericed imo), from what you've done to it so far I can see you're a true enthusiast :nice:
Any other plans once the looks are on point again?

Thanks guys! I'm going to do the interior over the winter, then slowly upgrade all the suspension components build it from the ground up, I was going to boost it but I can't bring myself to ruin the n/a B16 plus I know I could milk more ponys out of it without boost but that will all come in time I don't drive it hard because I love it so much anyway lol
 
Hey, can you tell me how you did your front lights? Mine need doing!!
 
I used a 3M polisher that I liberated from work lol! It basically works up through the grades of sandpaper from 500 to 3000 then it has a different polishing head after you've finished the sanding, the most important thing to remember is to keep the headlight wet at all times with a water spray, hopefully that made sense lol!
