i just had to write on here because i got some sad news yesterday....my UK spec integra which i loved and spent hours cleaning and detailing every week has been written off:(
i wrote to the guy who bought it off me to see how he was getting on with it and he told me he wrote it off the day after he bought it!!!!!
couldnt believe it...everyone always said it was the cleanest teg they had come across and all i can think about is them MINT recaro's with smashed glass all over them:(

any way just had to let some of this sadness out on here...another mint honda gone......

just a reminder of what was.... :(

That sucks balls man. Gutted for ya...whether you were in ownership or not its still a kick in the teeth

the day he got it?

what a dickhead

feel bad for you mate, atleast you didnt lose anything really

Thats terrible news man, sad to see cars get written off, especially clean examples of rare cars

bloody hell, you must be ragin man !

Happened to me as well but not as bad, guy bought my old corsa, was my 1st car and pumped thousands into it and crashed it 2 days later :angry2:

To many idiots about :(

its sickening when a car you cared so much over the years gets wreaked by someone else :(

Aww gutted man it was a minter really clean there is alot of idiots out there!!

This makes me feel really bad I crashed my EK9 back in December I have since repaired it as if that makes any difference. I made a bad judgement call and I'll always be reminded of that I just hope others dont judge me as a "dickhead" or "idiot" for my mistake Im not someone that goes racing around all over the shop.

Not sure if it hurts more knowing your beloved car was written of by its new owner or knowing the only person you have to blame is yourself and you cant change a thing about it.

Matt EK9: I think the latter will hurt you more as you experienced it in first person as it Happened to you, rather than finding out something happened to your old car.

But you learn from your mistakes which will make you a safer driver.
You don't learn til **** happens.

Holy vtec: And as for the teg, least you got something out of it and your not out of pocket as you sold it on. But none the less, is another sad day for Honda =(
Imagine how they manufacturers feel when their cars go out on track n gets totalled out man! Ooft

sorry to hear this mate, its not the nicest when u put so much hard work into ur car and u hope whoever owns it after you looks after it...obviously not :(

Disagree with ur last part there dan accidents do happen and i bet the guy who brought just couldnt handle the b18 power lol

yea boys i know i cant believe it happened either...wen he turned up to buy it he looked like a really placid guy...and dare i say it a bit of a nerd???lol
'vti2010'...i guess ur right, that car always seemed to be so controlable to me...anything i did it responded to and and incredible to drive but i guess you stilll need to respect them until you know how to drive them!!!
i dont have any pics im afraid...i dint wanna talk to him anymore about it and rub salt into the wounds!!but im glad it dint happen to me...i just couldnt afford for summit like that to happen to me at the mo!!!
hopefully he goes on to learn from it as he has got another one lol

Painful picture:

Nice FN2, very underrated cars IMO.
Close friend had one for years, his could have done with an LSD and a few more revs but was way more practical than my DC5.

Sorry to say your old DC2 looked familiar, I wrote it off last year after only owning it for a day
Real shame, was in great condition.

Oh mann, gutted to see It in that state, but as long as you're ok. Did it go to be crushed, repaired or stripped, as I assume it's worth a bit in parts?

John

P.s. I don't suppose you have my car park pass which is still on the windscreen in the photo :)[/quote]

A car is a car is a car.
I sold a skyline with a month tax that people spotted everywhere after I sold it....then it vanished and I checked and it was never retaxed.

I mostly hoped the guy was ok, as it was 400 horses. Metal can be replaced. That said a friend recently killed his newly aquired 1 of 80 only Vxr220...this was a bit of a shame due to rarity.
