This is my second EK9 so thought I'd start a build thread for this one as there will be a fair bit going on with it.
I picked it up on Friday last week so not had a lot of chance to do much with it so far.
It's in need of a few parts to bring it back into prime condition, but hopefully I'll have this done for less than £1000 in parts and around 20 hours work.
Here are a few pics from the advert when I bought it..
When I went to get it, it had a motorbike size number plate on the front (11" x 7"), which looks horrendous, so the fisrt thing ordered was a new set of front and rear plates. I'm dead fussy when it comes to number plates as they really do finish off the looks a car, so after some careful measuring I've gone for some 13" x 6.5" with no border and import size 3D lettering.
I'm just in the process of ordering all of the parts I'll need now, so they are all ready to fit all at once.
Last week I gave the headlights a mop to bring them up as they were incredily cloudy before and driving at night was not fun. They are a lot better but still not perfect so I've ordered a new pair.

Last night I changed the dirty old oil for Silkoline Pro S 5W40 with a HAMP filter
And also removed the highly unsociable Spoon N1, which will be for sale on here once I've posted enough rubbish to get to 250 posts. I'm looking for a Mugen Twinloop like I had on my lask EK9 as it sounded immense and not too loud but back to the standard system for now to preserve my hearing.
More to follow soon..
