So we have a B16 going into a facelift EJ9. The engine currently has parts on it from different OBD's on it, so we're looking at changing it all to OBD2B, same as the EJ9 currently is with the D14.

As far as I'm aware, all we need to change is alternator, injectors and dizzy, is that right? Plan is to use the D14 loom and add the wires from this guide (http://www.civiclife.net/board/topic/123635-how-to-wire-in-vtec-with-a-obd1-ecu/) so the VTEC solenoid wiring shouldn't matter. Has anyone used this guide and can they confirm that it works?

At the moment the plan is to use a P28 (OBD1), a conversion harness to OBD2B into which the dash loom and modified D series OBD2B loom will be plugged in.

Does that sound right?

Cheers for any help!
