how much compression ya'll running now?
or whats the highest comp ratio u ppl ever seen in a b16b?

i'm currenty 8.3:1 i believe but im different lol, i seen a few 13:1 cars, it all comes down to what grade fuel you have available to you.

how much compression can u go with 97 octane fuel on a hot climate?

that question can really only be answered by a tuner, there the ones that make the magic happen, you can run 13.5:1 but your going to have to retard the timing so much that you might end up losing power and a similar car with less compression but more timing might make the same power.

I am running 13.4-1CR with CP piston, Jun Spec 4 cam.

You have to run minimum 102ron fuel to keep it stable, but my car is pure race car that run on track only. If you are planning to build a road car, I would not suggest to build anything more than 12-1CR.

I dont think you can rev very high with 13CR and 97 RON, thats just abuse and asking it to blow up.

With 97RON you cant go more than 12CR. Safer at 11.5CR.

My Cr is around 11.5 with ctr piston. 1.8 stroke on b16b hit 196whp, 19.6 kgm No pnp, No high cam, just cam pulley, 4-2-1 header, bored t.body, power fc.

I have 12.5:1 comp pistons in my b20vtec but the cams will dictate the final comp ratio

You guys have crazy compression. I'm @ 11.8:1 on a ITR motor. Looking into raising it to 12.1:1 when i rebuild my block...

Blinnx - you are odd. That is low, but i bet you like being boosted

Whoever told you it's 11.5:1 with CTR pistons on a stroker 1.8L failed to take the compression height into account.

PR3 head/B18C Block

STD = 12.586:1
.25 OS = 12.649:1

This is with the OEM headgasket. This is what I presume you've got as well?

me personally I'm just a hair under 11:1 with a slightly resurfaced head and 2pce gasket. USDM-R tho'

quoted for truth ;) i know the cspeed calc is wrong in that regards, zeal's is the only one i've seen which acknowledges the difference in deck height...

My tuner told me mine should be around 12.6:1 with a stroked B16b retaining the b16b pistons and with a head and block skim and standard head gasket.

I'm guessing he's not far off then :nice:
