Civic Sump :(

i am in desperate need of a new sump for my civic
i did have one lined up off my mates civic but his car got taken away :(

so now i'm back to square one !

it is needed for a 1997 honda civic ej9 hatchback

PLEASE HELP ! :( ha

located in aberdeen
 
You can buy a whole engine for less then £200 so don't be to depressed lol

Ill epoxy metal it tomorrow
Orrr i might have a new shell plus a d16z6 engine on the cards so you could have a nice new engine in your car ;)

well i doubt you'll be getting this car in the next week or so tho ?

just had a quick look
just badly wanting my car on the road so i thought just getting a sump would be the easy option ha

might have a d16 lined now anyway but we'll see what happens
 
Why do you need a sump anyway?
D16s arnt much more then 300 either

with my car being so low at the front before, the previous driver must of hut something and the sump has dent and leaking slightly and that would fail a mot wouldnt it ?
 
I would be more worried about the implications of the performance of the sump than whether it would pass an MOT
But I would say it would pass
Are you planning to raise the suspension at all?

the suspension is raised now buddy !.... so i am half tempted just to get it in for its mot and see what the say about the sump

still need to get track rod and track rod ends for its mot tho
hopefully getting them sorted tonight or tomorrow
