Have a bit of spare time this week and feel like doing stuff to my ej9.!

Only prob is I have no money at the moment.!

Anyone have any free mods I coud do.? Or very very cheap mods.!! :nice:

Any info appreciated.! Thanks

Shed some weight. It is most probably the best free mod out there.

What's best way of shedding weight.? Wouldn't want to take out too much, not pushed about speed just want to get her looking nice.!

Any other mods.?

loose some weight as above or if you have any rusty brackets in your engine bay, take them off, sand them down and paint them to freshen it up abit. just small things like that i guess and a can or two of spray paint wont cost you much either.

failing that just give it a good clean. take all the wheels off and clean the arches, exhaust etc. thats what i would be doing if i had the time especially with the amount of salt that has been on the road recently.

Liking the idea of spraying the brackets and stuff.! Might give that a go during the week.!

defintaley agree with stripping out and losing some weight in the car as well as spraying brackets in the enigne bay to make it look tidier

What colour ye reckon for the brackets.? Car is a wine colour

find someone with a better ej9 and take bits from it ! you wont look back

on a serious note give it a good detailing session , get some auto glym and masking tape and tear into it for a few hours .

Any how-to's for detailing civics on here.? WOuld be handy.! I would forget half the places.!

diy your headlights if you have a bit of cash you could get front and rear lips that would make a big difference look wise

Don't have cash at the moment lad :(

What you mean by protective strips.?? As in colour code the car you mean.?

hi guys...
i have moved into an ek9.... about a year ago.... powered by D16...single cam.non vtec.... with manual 5.....
i have the option to go for either an F20 twin cam (non V-Tec) or a single cam V-Tec D16....
considering both options are at the same price......
which one is better.... plz advise why....

If you still have the original gear knob. Do the keys as well £2:00

Also find a red stitched gaiter on Ebay £7:00

I had some silver hammerite around and used that on the radiator brackets
and the radiator expansion bottle bracket.

Anyone got any thoughts about covering the hole that leads from the air intake into the resonator by simply using a plastic bag pulled tight before replugging it back into the resonator. very cheap and nasty but would it produce anything worth while??
