cel on a 53 type s ep2

hi my mums car is throwing a cel but im not sure what wires to bridge ive done it before on my ek but not sure what the plug looks like on her car .its a 1.6 sohc vtec .

i took it out for a drive tonight and when it hits 4k its like its hitting the limiter anyone shed some light on this ? cheers

Isnt there a 16 pin diagnostic plug on those? You might have to get a hold of a code reader and plug it in.

yeh there is at the driver side is the not a plug you can bridge like you do on the ek ?

there should be the 2x pin vonnector still. Itll be locatred somwhere under there, Id say keep looking.

there is only 16 pin connector on them . needs a diagnostic machine to read it aidan . u know where i am lol .
