CEL 1 - O2 sensor

Read the cel code and it came up with #1.

Therefore this means its a Oxygen sensor #1 or a lambda sensor as we know it.
I was just wondering what O2B - Oxygen sensor #2 is. ???

I know the O2 sensor is in the manifold, and Primary oxygen sensor heater in the cat but wheres the number 2 O2 sensor.

Is this only for newer Honda's with the k20 etc.... as im sure ive read they have one o2 sensor in the manifold and anouther o2 sensor in the cat, along with the heater sensor.

Any info would be great.

clean the connetor out and give it a blast with WD40 first dude. Moisture may be making you throw that code or a wiring fault thats developed.

Secondard oxygen sensor is found on 96> vehicles excluding most imports between 96-02. THe purpose is to check the cat is workign correctly

So both o2 sensor 1 and 2 should be exactly the same.
Both just the standard 4 wire lambda's?

No, i meant on the same car.
Mines a 99 vti so its a 4 wire, but i was meaning are both o2's exactly the same. Both the same part number etc...
