Hi guys
I've had a carbon fibre roof made up for my car, although the guy who made it had a few issues getting the finish perfected. He'd made a couple of panels but kept encountering problems, so we had to call it quits as the amount of time and materials used were mounting up.
I picked up the panels today and I've noticed that one is spot on except the finish on the very edges of the panel have cracked, shown in the pics.
What I'm wondering is... Is that just the laquer that's cracked? Or does the panel have a final coat of resin over it which is what has cracked. I know nothing about the process so have no idea what it is, if it's resin, could I just strip it back and add another coat of resin?
Cheers!
