So as i said in my previous update il be fitting the sunroof delete which turned out to be quite an easy and enjoyable jo, firstly the roof.lining was removed, then there are 10 bolts and 2 plugs and the sunroof just falls out
After that i sat the sunroof delete in place, measured to ensure it wasnt squint and marked every hole with a sharpie pe, once the holes were drilled i wiped everything down and ran a generous bead of clear silicone round the edge of the hole in the roof, sat the bung back into position and riveted it in place (thanks to @markp for lending me the rivet gun) when it was riveted the silicone was compressed sealing between, i just hope theres no leaks lol
Once the silicone was cured i cut round with a stanley and the exess just pulled off
Do heres the end resul, unfortunatly i now have an.ururge to start riveting things now, so i might end up doing more stuff later on lol next.is defos interior paint and eventually a 4.4fd and new clutch.
