Tight & twisty! Looks like I may have to try that one next year. Its an arse trying to decide which 5th to go for, you have to try the longer one first just to make sure, but for me the shorter one is much better, even with its limits. Are you running the Spoon ecu in the vid?

i know what you mean for the road the fifth i've got is ok, with the spoon ecu its about 75-80 when vtec kicks in, but for the track its no good.

yes the ecu is fitted on the vid

its a good track suits the ek9 well

nice vid! its quite a narrow and tight track there,
where is cadwell park? what region?
thanks.

Looks very quick and smooth. What other mods have you done to the car ?

thanks for the comments

the tracks in lincolnshire.

car spec is

spoon ecu
fujitsubo legalisR exhaust
de cat
mugen 4-1
dixcel fcr discs with ro1 pads and goodridge hose's
Mfactory intake
Mfactory close gear set

and for that track day i had some toyo R888 tyres

very impressive mate:nice: top marks on the driving ! blew that dc5 to bits lol

The very same exhaust I am looking at, what was the db reading on the day m8? Also did you go for the round or slash cut - any pics of the rear of the car? MFactory intake..not seen one of those, any pics, how does it compare? Soooo many questions lol

hi

the db test was at 4000rpm static and it measured 87db its just round i think, not got any pics i'll try and get one sorted, it looks near enough the same as a standard one

the Mfactory intake is the same as a j's racing one, over the standard airbox it made a big differance for me

Nice driving, nice car handling, how do you manage to mount the camera there? :wow:

You need to do heel and toe when shifting! :D

Excellent video mate and it couldnt of come at a better time :)

I'm racing there for the first time next saturday and although i'm hopefully testing there on the Friday, i was looking for a good video to watch to give me some idea of the track layout........Top man :nice:

the camera's a little bullet type one with a sucker mount kit i just stick it to the roof:nice:

kris you racing the nippon? i'm going to try and make that for a watch

Yes mate we are there for rounds 11 & 12 although I'm a bit anxious as it looks a very technical circuit. Everyone I have spoken to have said I should get a test/track day in first and not use my Qualifying race to learn the track.

Makes sense I know but financially its a killer as racing is expensive enough :nono:

Will hopefully get afternoon testing on the friday but failing that i'll just watch your vid until my eyes bleed :D

its not as difficult to learn as i thought it would be, theres a couple of dodgy spots main one being hall bends. would be best to get some testing before though i would have thought. i dont know how much time you get on track before you race

i've been going to cadwell since i was born, my dad did and my brothers still race bikes round there, i was abit nervous before i went on track but it soon went away:nice:

i bet it will be different racing though its not very wide at all passing will be hard.

i'll come and say hi if i see you about if not good luck

Yeah it looks very tight and twisty and should make the racing pretty interesting :)

If your there on the day mate definately pop over and say hello :nice:
