Buddy Club Pro Spec Diamater? And a couple of other questions

Think Ive decided on the BC Pro spec exhaust but just wondering does anyone know the width (like 2.25 or 2.5) of it?

Also, is there any difference polished stainless stell and brushed?

Also, if i purchase a dc sports manifold for a b16a2, would it be 2.25?

Seems only difference in polished and brushed is one is shiney and the other is flat looking (doh)

Anyone any idea about the Pro spec pipe diameter and the manifolds please?

I have the buddy club on mine and its 2.5 and yes if you get a manifold for a b16a it would be 2.25 I believe bud
 
i was looking at getting a buddy club and was looking at getting the spec3 or spec4 but didnt think of going to the pro spec as i thought it was only for track use??
 
did you end up getting this? if so do you have a vid coz im really thinking of getting one

lol thats funny as i just read a thread a few pages back about how poorly buddy clubs are built so im thinking of something else now aswell.

thought dont know what to go for??
 
I used to have the pro spec on my civic some years back.
It was true 2.5" diameter and the piping and flanges where all nicely made.
Sound was quiet nice too .My latest experience with Buddy Club was really bad and i'll never buy from them again.Don't buy their Digi spec meters,they're junk.
 
You sure its not 60mm like the rest?
60mm = 2.36"
 
As said about a thousand times in the past, nearly every Japanese exhaust system for EK9 is 60mm, the only exception i know of is the factory exhaust and the JDM top fuel turbo exhaust which is 80mm iirc. Some USDM companies make 2.5" but most are 2.25", keep in mind this is ID, if you measure the OD of a 60mm it will appear to be 2.5".
 
blinx is right i think, you'll find that some usdm systems use a 2.25 diameter. I encountered this when i bought a de cat for my tanabe system on my previous car. 2.25 is a bit of a myth on jdm and ukdm systems, they're advertised as 2.25 for some reason but are more offen than not 2" or 2.5". Just what i was told by tegiwa, could be wong
