haha, yeah right, i spank evo's all day long, my civic is faster than the evo im looking at ;) the difference is i can drive the evo everyday, the civic i cant cause its too loud and if a cop asks me to open my hood its a $1000 fine so im very nervous every time i drive the civic :angry:

i see....well do the cops there need some kind of a warrant, before they open the hood??....i heard from my buddy, that they need you to sign a paper before they pop your hood....so if you don't sign they cant open your hood...well can you do that??

if that dosent work just put a silencer....:nice:
 
why are the illegal?

in the uk you can do what ever you want to a car as long as it passes its mot and is registered if you have upgraded to a bigger displacement engine.

thats all bullcrap, they are the police, they can do what ever they want, even in America, you dont have to sign anything, and if you dont let them pop your hood they'll just have your car towed.

silencers on turbo cars kill at minimum 100whp and im sure it would affect the tune and increase egt's, thats just not an option for me. its not just the noise, its the look and everything. the main problem is its a Honda and cops know people fix up Hondas.

i have no cat, illegal engine swap, illegal upgrades to the illegal engine, illiegal engine management, all my emissions equipment has been disabled, my catch can vents to the atmosphere, etc... the list goes on...

unfortunately the state i live in is VERY strict when it comes to modifications, i live the the strictest state in USA :angry2:
 
lol...calm down Blinx....im glad we don't have emissions crap where i live....i can registered my car no problem......they have emissions in the city, but i lived 1 hour far from them...plus the cops here in Canada are not strict....just don't drive too fast and not so loud....your all good :nice:...btw my car has some loud noise, but i just minimize my foot on the gas and stay on higher gear, so it dosen't make to much noise...:clap:
 
Move to Tennessee Blinx! All those mods are LEGAL here. Totally legal. In fact, the scene in TN is friggin awesome. Not only are those mods legal here, in my county, there are no emissions testing. So you can run without a cat, have a CEL going, and it be OBD2 and still not have a problem (first car had no cat, third/current car is OBD2 and throwing a CEL WHEN I REGISTERED IT). A cop will never open your hood for anything. They may get you for excessive noise if your exhaust is too loud but even that is hard to get pulled over for.

If I had 12 grand and lived closer by (and not half the friggin country away) I'd get it.

Still I urge you (and Coach too, why the hell not) to come over here :D

man its pretty tempting, if i love cars so much it may be better if i consider living in a place were i can have more freedom with them, any windey roads there?
 
does coach love Ecchi? hells yeah there are windy roads. I don't live in the boonies or nothin but a short drive and there you are. Twisty roads everywhere. Plus, Nashville, TN is home to the largest import meet in the Nation. Import Alliance. I've been to the Summer and Fall 2007 ones. This year's Summer is a 2-day event with races and stuff. Nashville Super Speedway. Drag, Time Attack, and what not.

All u have to do is drop gear flour it and wave. You dissaper into the sunsset.

police cars in my area run 13.0 seconds in 1/4 mile so its a bit hard to get away, also if you do run they get a helicopter so running is a bad idea :nono:
 
so whats urs, must b close the 10 sec mark. plus if they get a chopper on u shoot it down. Ur american! i bet u got a gun! Yer?
