biscuit's facelift EK9

Finally found a replacement CW OEM mirror, so the carbon ones were sold and replaced with super clean OEM ones.

Ordered some black scene kid bolts for the engine bay and spent an age getting as clean as I could.

I'm going to look at a CL7 Euro R soon, could this be the end of my relationship with this EK9?

Love your 9 :nice: hope all goes well looking at the CL7. But hope it's not the end of the 9 relationship :nerv:

I don't think it will be, these are going up in value, an accord is just an accord.

This does everything I could ask of a car apart from being a bit too in your face, it's so clean I don't want to park it places! Maybe I need two daily drivers, the current and a total crap heap haha

Nothing to report apart from ordering some service items.

Oil, filter and RBF600 fluid for a change.

Will have a thorough look underneath for any underseal damage in the spring (not that I've hardly used the car!)

Ur engine bay is so fuckin clean man i love it best part of the car

Took a good while to get it that way! Even now it's not as good as new.
Keep seeing adverts for steam cleaners and wonder if that might be a good tool.

As the sun came out today I decided to do my yearly underside touch up and check, touch up and stone chipped underseal etc.

Plus today I whipped the skirts off and pump the sills with Dynax S50 as I forgot to last year, like snot & crap, but works very well!

As you can see, nasty stuff, hence the cheap tarpaulin.

Still no rust, probably because of the ton of underseal stuck to everything.

Got my service parts and new brake fluid to change that and the oil before Japfest.

Oh joy... I have a 10" crack in my windscreen.

Falling out of love with cars at the moment.

Windscreen replaced & new seal, which in a way was handy as the old one was starting to lift/peel from the top near-side corner.

Somewhat related to the car & everyone else with an EK9.

Thought about selling it as I never use it, had it appraised by Torque GT (just down the road from me) & really, it's not worth selling.
They are 8500-9000gbp in Japan for a nice grade 4 facelift, without shipping or UK duty/taxes.

BritEx hasn't helped things with the ROE's, but if you have a very clean, nicely done car in the UK now - don't get rid unless you have to.

Been offered some strong money for mine recently... Its a sure sign good ones are getting hard to find!

15 minute job today, front ARB D bushes. Wasn't an advisory at the MOT, but tester did ask if I got any knocking from the front.
For the sake of £25, simples.

Well... it's time to sell up.

I love this car, but I never use it. It's a garage ornament & I feel someone else could give it more time than me.

I shall do a proper sale thread soon and a full spec.
