HAha... I doubt that Spoon has them made by Nology. I have both and yes they are similar in that sense where they have grounding cables. The nology ones are grounded individually though.
Here's one thing I noted from both. The OEM wires plus the DARK BLUE NGK (JDM) "power cables" "click" into place and are rather difficult to remove. The lighter blue (USDM) NGK cables have a softer sheathing and boots plus they appear to be slightly easier to remove both off the dist. cap and sparkplugs.
The Spoon wires have lighter blue boots similar to the USDM NGK plus and are even easier to remove than the USDM NGK set....while the Nology's, the set I have from at least 5-10years ago are garbage in terms of their ability to properly fasten themselves to the sparkplugs. They have been like this since new.
I have NOT had the opportunity to see any newer Nology examples, but with all the tech invested in them and marketing, I sure hope they finally figured out how to make a proper sparkplug boot.
