Bad news!

GUTTED!:nono: some dude decided to pull out of a side street and smash in to me today!! he said he never saw me coming! To say I am raging, unhappy, gutted is an understatement, this car has been my life for the last 2 years!

The guy has admitted libility and gave me all his details and he is fully insured,etc so thats the main thing. he was driving an old clio and it has minor damage, couldnt believe it!

My insurance company, Sky, have dealt with it brilliantly and so have my brokers Summit and the Accident Support group, hospital and police! Duddingston Coachworks phoned me and I have to take my car to them on monday to assess whether its worth repairing, etc. My mechanic mate reckons it could be a write as it could cost quite alot to repair but I will wait and see! I hope not like coz I love my car to bits.

I am fine, just have minor whiplash and strained ligaments the hospital told me. I got plenty x-rays and its all good just a bit tender and sore!:((

FFS i hope it all gets sorted the way you want. Fecking idiot why can't they open there bloody eyes!!!

This sucks :(

There are some right idiots on the road, the other week I was happily plodding along a main road in my polo, must have been doing about 40-50, and someone just ploughed into the back of me, even he couldnt explain how he did it! Hope your's gets fixed ok though.
 
clearly on the photo he hit on your 50% half rear. he not looking when drive. stupid people.

i think its now 50 50 regarding the write off. by the look of it, its a big dent on skin.

my mate have something similar month ago.
side mirror damaged, front wing damaged, door dent, and wheel .
the insurance company did not write it off, just repair it.

had a very similar crash in my eg6 back in 2005.The bitch didnt see me aparently. They wrote off the car as it was old, got £1,400 kept the car and 2,100 for whiplash and some other minor injuries :)

Hope they dont write off the EK9 looks mint :(
 
ouch what a bastered!!! as above hope she doesnt get written off however if it is the case just do what i did and re-shell it :))
 
gutted for you mate at least you'll recover.
if it does get written off, think livvy has a rolling shell for sale on civiclife
 
more than likely wrote off

let them write it off insurance companies dont see how much these cars are worth then buy it back and fix it yourself or else split it for parts their was a lad on here before got 5k from the insurance for his car and bought it back for 500 quid.....
