Backbox, would it fit?

Hey guys, im pretty newbie when it comes to Backboxes so i thought i'd just ask the question straight out

I got a Civic Ek4 Vti 97, and my mate had a full Mongoose exhaust system fitted, now im getting very bored of the actual exhaust end itself, its too big and isnt rounded, its pointy and sharp. Now my question is, Can i keep the rest of the exhaust system and just change the end to say a more rounded chrome looking tip? i.e just change the backbox?

If the mongoose B-pipe is the same length and flange design as stock you should be able to put a back box on it.

If it's a specific design for that system you will struggle unless you get one welded.
