Description:

Hi guys, decided to sell the following car due to a change of plan. I originally intended to build a turbo civic EG over the long summer when I am off university. As a result I purchased the following car as it is fitted with a B18C4 and LSD box which I am sure you are aware is a very good set up to boost. However, after finding a B18C for a very reasonable price from a fellow ek9 member I decided to buy a second shell, to instead build a B18C N/A this summer. I feel this is a better plan than trying to sell the B18C4 engine separately as I can appreciate people's hesitance to buy an engine which they cannot hear running.

The car certainly appears to be in good condition and it has had a full respray in matt/satin black from a previous owner (Including engine bay and door shuts). There is very little rust on the car; as a result I assume that the paint work must have been done to a high standard as it has been painted for approximately 5-6 months now and there is no sign of any rust.
I can appreciate that the colour may not be to everyone’s taste but it was appealing to me when I bought the car as I intended to use the car for track use thus the colour would be cheap to repair. The car does have a few small dents from where it has been stood around. However, these are hardly noticeable, I am simply stating this to offer as true a reflection of the car as possible.

Mechanically, the car is very good and was the primary reason I bought the car with the intention of turboing it. The engine starts first time every time and runs very smoothly with no knocks, rattles or smoke. The engine is standard other than a S/S exhaust system, decat pipe and aftermarket air filter. I was shown documentation for the engine by the previous keeper who had the engine fitted and can confirm that the mileage is circa 82,000. The engine also has a P28 socketed ECU with launch control and an Exedy after market clutch which are a perfect complement to the LSD gearbox. It is also note worthy that the car is fitted with EK9 gear linkages and shifter

As to be expected from a car of this age it does have a couple of bad points which are reflected in the price. There is a small chip in the windscreen as well as some discolouration around the windscreen (see pics), also the car has a few interior plastic trims which are grey and I believe they should be black as it is a ESI. However the interior is in good condition throughout and these minor things can be replaced at a reasonable cost which is what I intended to do had I have kept the car.

Car mileage is 152817 miles although this is not a true reflection of the cars condition as the car is in very good condition for a car of this age and mileage not to mention the engine and gear box have been replaced.

Priced to sell at £1850 - taxed until August and has MOT to a similar time (I will double check this and confirm the exact date).

Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

The above car for sale is my own. Unfortunately I am unable to post it myself as I do not have 250 posts (although I have been a member since 2008 and have purchased various things from members). Any inspection welcome and encouraged. Questions please PM

thanks, with a few modifications it would make a cracking track car. Unfortunately, I no longer have the space or time for it
