We're having some teething problems with a conversion we undertook. Car is running a P28 Socketed ECU from H-Tune.
The car wont start under its own power. If i was to jump it from a second car, and leave the plugs on the car idles and revs perfectly.
Remove the jump leads and the lights on the dash begin to dim, and the car will slowly loose all electrics and die, but the engine usually will keep running.
The alternator plug we had to cut off the old MB6 loom as the EK4 loom has 4 wires. We matched 3 wires, but left a 4th blank. Which was green/white.
I have tried earthing the 4th, and running it to live. To no avail. Nothing will stop the electrics from dieing.
The car ran perfectly prior to removal, but im wondering if the alti has died in the process of the conversion? Or, something we've done is wrong!
