b18c?????????? help lol

hi currently i have a ek9 b16b, but i am looking to make some changes. i have been told a good thing to do is to put a b16a in and turbo it, but reading on here alot of people are putting b18cs in instead. what is better, also i am new to this is the b18c reffering just to the gearbox or isit the whole engine beacause in some posts there talking about the b18c having lsd and i know thats to do with the gearbox, but in other its a full b18c transplant. just really want to know does it just mean the gearbox lol sorry if its a noooooooby, qusetion. also if it is the gearbox is just bolt off bolt on.

i myself have a b16a2 my power is nice with a coldair intake i could put ctr cams and get more power and i could put itr throttlebody alot of the parts are compatible with each other it depends on the budget and avalibilty of performance parts . so its really about research etc.........
