I've got a full b18c6 but I have an agreed collection date with another member, if this falls through for whatever reason I'll pm you about it.

Basically two valves welded themselves to the pistons, real disaster. Need head and block. Gutted for him, he feels sick as do I.

'Ring on Wednesday too, he's now gonna have to be a passenger with me now.
 
Nitemare mate!!! Is Phil not selling his built b18 engine? Plenty if time to get it stuck in before Wednesday!
 
Not good mate, as mentioned Phill's engine would be a nice upgrade if he's still selling

I'm sure you's could pick up a standard motor locally too, have you tried any Honda breakers.. thumper etc in dungannon or Jodie?

Did Your dads motor fail on the road just? Any idea how it happened? Did the valves drop into the cylinder? Was the engine standard internally, cams etc? It did go very well

If we found an engine over the weekend it would be in before Wednesday, engine is basically out. But can't see that happening :(. You have contacts for them Stephen? And yep, pulled into the garage, stuck 40 of super in, pulled out 1st, 2nd, bang. No VTEC wasn't engaged either, strange, thought it was a gasket.

Dropped two valves in, don't know too much yet, the symptoms are it's very, very dead, lucky to get away with the IM, it's a real mess. Not sure if I'm honest what head work is carried out if any anything.

Strange Kris as it was such a healthy motor, possibly bad fuel causing it to run lean and detonate and drop the valves?

I always believed that a good Honda engine was bullet proof that's why I just wondered if it had different cams or valves etc at some point.
