hi again
i have an mb6 b18c4 which has just been writen off and i have the offer of a two door hatch 1.4 ltr 1998 in excelent condition
i was wondering if i can transplant the engine and gearbox etc
and would i need to get any thing to complete the transplant it would be a great shame to waste a good engine :D

yes you can do the swap, you need the driveshafts and shiftlinkage if you don't already have them and you would end up changing some of your engine mounts...

i have the complete civic mb6 is that all i need
i just dont want to start stripping both and find i have some thing missing

what is an mb6?

try civiclife.net, these swaps are done very often there :)

if you have the car and everything is in working order you dont need anything.
you have the engine
you have the gearbox
you have the drive shafts
you have the ecu
you have the brakes
you could even use the rear axle (if it fits) to have discs all round ;)
you have everything, just swap them all over :):)
