B16b max whp?

What do you guys estimate as the max whp you could get out of the ek9 b16b engine? without turboing or supercharging or engine replacement etc just manifold, cams, induction etc, bolt on bits basically.

U meant stock engine? Mine 16B wit upgraded Air intake, Exhaust, piping, header and E manage.. 16Xwhp.
I saw one 16B stock wit Power FC on the same day of my dyno.. get 15Xwhp...
I heard my friend said that his friend can get 17Xwhp wit stock 16B engine...This really make me curious...

Can anyone share their B16B's Whp wit Stock engine.....?? state up wat u upgrade as well pls..
 
i think is depends on which dyno machine?

For dynopack, i heard it is around 158whp.
 
i think the guy mean a fully built up B16B motor/cams ECU etc etc........

I think it around 210WHP.......... Dont quote me on that, im sure i read it somewhere.......
 
I expect you could get around 170-180whp absolute max from a N/A B16b but the money it would cost to build it would be better spent on a turbo or increasing displacement.

But im no expert just a estimate.
 
ok cheers guys. What about standard 185 hp what could you increse that up to? As you can prob tell i dnt no much about this stuff!

if your keeping the stock bore and stroke it will be VERY hard to go over 200whp but it has been done, i would say about 210whp but thats with extensive head work, large cams, high compression 9400rpm etc...
 
It'd need to making some seriously high Volumetric Efficiency numbers around 100%-120%VE... That comes from seriously mated combinations, timing adjustments and tuning.
 
well on my b16b i made 168whp with only intake, spoon header and 2.5 greddy exhaust with test pipe
 
my b16b got 155whp only....tune with chrome....but my torque 13.9kgm...why my torque is too low?
 
what's your compression? what's your leakdown?

when was the last time you adjusted your valves? changed the fuel filter? air filter? spark plugs? distributor cap/rotor? what's the mileage? wheel bearings? low tire pressure? alignment?

Many things could attribute to low output.

you don't even list your mods....

i check my compression already...piston no.1= 17,no.2=16.5,no.3=16.5 and no.4=17,
my engine mod b16b oem block,b16a head with pnp,BC valve spring n Ti retainer,Toda A cam,Mugen 4-1 header and AEBS intake...
