I have a b16b in my ek3 and the problem with the car is once started up cold the car revs about 1500. Once warned up it self the idle then goes from about 2000-3000 bouncing between these figures, once the car is switched off then put back on the car idles better but not at vtec temp (700-800 rpm). If I switch the car off and on a further 8-10 times it will sit at 700-800 rpm and vtec will work. Anybody experiencing this and how to overcome it? Alternator and battery has been replaced for new ones, icav has been cleaned and a service has been taken place. Genuinely stumped at this problem and it gets annoying everything I sit in the car and get ready to drive!
B16b high idle and no vtec?!
