B16b ecus

Hey guys I have a 97 spec b16b project Iam putting together with the the 98+ spec Itr 4.7 trans and 12lbs flywheel .... My question is I have a 99 hatch obd2b ...
My engine is a 1997 should i get the pct 96-98 spec ecu or go with the 99-00 is there a diff in power/tune with the ecus , I understand that if I get the 96-98 ecu I will have to jumper down and the 99-00 ecu is plug and play , just trying to figure out the diff in the ecu years / and if it will hurt or lose power if I use the 99-00 ecu on a 97 spec b16b

If you ask me, I'll say get a fully programmable ecu.

Between the choices you got, I'll go for the obd2b ecu 99-00 since you'll not need a conversion harness.

Was planning on jumping to obd1 hondata s300 version 3 , after I get swap up and running , amd bank up some more cash
