Basically just wondering if ive bought a slower car because i got the 97? im not very clever when it comes to engines. cheers if anyone can help.

this is what comes from searching the internet. soo confused.

^^as above^^ Check to the left of your exhaust manifold as you look in at the engine from front of car and see where your engine number is stamped, it should say "B16B" if it say's "B16A" then you have a SIR engine.
