ok so my cousin left to colombia for a bit and asked me if i could check out his EF9 he has a obd0 b16a JDm on it and the ecu is throwin codes 3 and 21
3=MAP
and 21= vtec
this is what the car does:
wen i rev to 3k rpm slow it starts backfiring like it has a rev limiter the higher the rpm the faster and louder it backfires but if i rev it fast nothing happens.
also when you drive it sometimes it will just stop accelerating like if where not pressing on the gas WTF??
and he had the FPR hose to the intake mani disconnected and when i put it on (where it supposed to be it dies out)
so i changed the MAP and the problem still there any suggestions??
