b16 head question

Hi guys,

I know there's probably a thread for this here already but I can't find it..

I'm building a standard b16a and my guy that is skimming the head needs to know the original height of the head (from head gasket surface to valve cover gasket surface) so he can determine how much has been taken off it already.

Also, how much could be taken off the head using OEM b16A pistons.

5.593" the starting height and 5.589" the height you can bring it down to?

No that's the tolerance Honda give, you can take a fair bit off that depending on what cams/Pistons you run.
