apexi neo vtm?

hey guys, is it necessary to wire the VTM signal in when doing this? its just in the wiring diagram it doesnt state where it is on my ecu yet on pg 7 of instructions it has it listed as needing to be hooked up??
any feedback be great!

hey i wired mine to my EK9 without the VTM as it seems not to have one. jus leave it out. it works fine. wat sort of setting are you using with the vtec controller on it????
