anyone know much about mobile phones ?

i phoned three today to find out why my bill was so high and apparently i was subscribed to a mobile service called "newbabez.com". anyway they ended up convincing me to upgrade my contract and the little indian guy on the phone seemed super excited telling me a few things about this handset although i hardly know anything about phones these days so can someone please tell me a few things about this phone ?

i searched some reviews on google but i cant understand half the things they are saying.. the phone is sony xperia Z

It's a great phone, water resistant for up to 30mins from what I read, large screen.
Fast & has a 13mp camera, also hd video recording.
the phone was only released 28/2/13. Just over a week old.

Either that or wait for the Samsung s4.

Other alternatives if you don't like the xperia z (sonys flagship phone), Samsung s3, Samsung note2, iPhone 5, htc one X, Nokia lumia 920.

They all have similar specs but run on different systems, android(jellybean), apple, windows8.
 
I don't know much but if I were you I'd stop subscribing to porn sites from your phone :)

lol i had never even heard of the site before and ive no idea how i ended up subscribed. i wouldnt even pay for porn, i went on to there website and they were all 30 second teasers it must be a porn site for people with premature ejaculation problems lol besides pornhub is always free
 
had a few mates wi the new sony xpiria n within a month they had to send it back also with samsung galaxy and my gf has the htc one x first week speeker blew 3rd week wouldnt switch on iv had the iphone since it came out n never had a problem i have the iphone 4s just now i threw it off a wall in rge 1 night smashd to bits ordered new screen n backing off ebay and was gd as new in my opinion iphone all the way n the iphone 5 n 4s arent much diff so save the money n get the 4s your not missing much
 
Once u have owned a iphone5 u won't touch a 4 or 4s just because Of the dimensions, it makes a huge difference

If you ask me its the same as a iphone 4s with a upgraded camara, i wont be getting another iphone when i renew my contract. my mate has the samsung note or somthing like that, and he always has good internet even in the remote places. Only down side is its huge not much difference between the ipad mini in size
 
I love the sony's mobiles currently I have experia ion....great wee phone that was last years phone ...if u thinking of selling give me a pm

Probably because 4g had only just become available in the last few months, and only in the major cities. :secret:

The new samsung looks pretty cool though.
 
For the money right now you cannot beat the Google Nexus 4!

...suited me well after I dropped/smashed my HtC One X :(

The xperias water proof feature looks cool, though as a rule I don't take my phone swimming with me so seems a tad gimmicky ;)

How can you say it's the same as the 4S?
Have 2 iPhone 5's and my 4S in the house hold.
I so wish I had the 5, lol.
Faster, screen is clearer and better colour, so much lighter.
I have no complaints about iPhone.
Works all the time without fail, never crashes, does what I tell it to do.
 
the z does seem to be a good phone but iv had a few back in with problems ( I work for carphone warehouse) iv got a galaxy s3 and for me its the best phone, big screen expandable and removable memory card etc

the z is water proof but with some serious conditions lol first of all has to be just water i.e not salt water, beer, coke etc also has to be water between 5-10degrees lol

the htc one seems like it shall be good but its been held back for few weeks on release date (no idea why not been fead back from htc) but it has a 4mp camera (ultra pixels help it compare with others) which is mad will see what it like when we get it as im sceptical.

the s4 does look like the phone of the year so far sporting a Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 its a beast and they have managed to squeeze a 5 inch screen in the same machine of the s3 so no bigger phone size but screen is :)
