Angel-eyes OR Standard Headlights.

ah i can't claim that mate. i did a spoiler tilt thread but not a EK9 rep lights thread..
alot of OEM whores on here lol.

Yeah true, i would love a set of OEM lights etc but weeee bit over my budget atm hah!
 
standard lights all the way. stick in a set of hid.s and your sorted, i had a set of angel eyes on my ek. only one problem with them. cant see a fcuking thing at night with them.

Really :O ? I think the visibility is really good. I have upgraded bulbs and all but.
Ive got the lights up for sale on another site now (not enough posts on here) so hope they shift and the money will then go towards HID's :)

ye lad there so good you have them up for sale on another forum so you can get rid of them to get standard lights and then get a set of hid,s. thats exactly what i was on about, and what i have done
 
is the standard bulbs with the standard headlights ok. like do they look alright etc.
cause i dont know how long it'll be before HID's are on the scene lol

Yes, they look a lot more 'alright' than the angel eyes :nice:

Was speaking to a guy at work who seems to think that having HID's on a car that doesnt come with them as standard will fail the mot, as of next year.
Something to do with OEM HID's having an auto tilt function?! Anyone heard of this?

Ye there are talks about the non OEM fit HID's failing MOT's as of late this/beginning of next year. Its due to some of the aftermarket lights been so bright and them beam been spread too much and dazzling people is what they say.

To be honest though in my opinion alot of the factory fit HID's like in Range Rovers, Minis, Porsches are even bright and more dazzling!
