Well after being in the garage for 52 days ive had it back a few months now, its had a gearbox rebuild and another new clutch, and feels all good! it just needs a good service!!

A few little updates:-

EK9 mats
EK9 carpet
brackets painted
PJDM Vtec solenoid cover

not a fan of the cam cover vtec bagdes sprayed green or heatsheild but your getting there

yeah i need to paint the DOHC vtec black! just havent got round to it, im undecided on the heat sheild too! it looks better than being rusty but i may just heat wrap the manifold instead!!

If you sprayed the cam covers writing in black or white it would stand out and look better to me but it's a great car. You not considering getting smoothed bumpers fitted?

yeah i need to paint the writing soon, ive got some gold paint to match the solenoid cover and bolts!! and i will smooth / replace the bumpers sometime but its not urgent at the moment as ive spent loads on mechanical parts recently!!

Well i have a bit of a dilemma!

this happened on fri eve:-

i took it to the bodyshop and it will cost at least £1000 to fix

i need help and comments as to do one of these options!!

# cut my losses Break the car and buy a micra runabout till i decide what to get next and sell evrything

# or keep the car, fix the clutch release bearing (which needs doing) and live with the dent as ive spent so much on the car

I cant really give you advice on what to do next as its entirely up to yourself, if it was me i'd prob buy a run around and break it or sell it how it is - save up for a 9 (but thats cos im desperate for a 9)

It really depends how long you intend on keeping the car or if you want something else and what that would be.

I was off today so i sanded the emblems on my cam cover and went for a little drive around the lanes not far from mine, it was pretty muddy!!!

Well i Decided to keep the car and have done quite a bit since i last posted up!

- Had clutch number 4 fitted by r motion
- new release bearing
- Straight Red door fitted!
- S/S 2.5" cat back system
- Do luck braided lines
- New rear callipers + handbrake cables
- full service
- Eibiach 35mm lowering springs

and proberbly some other bits too! heres some of how to looks now!

And this weekend i had my car on the Dyno's over at powerstation and was very happy with the results

Now i just need to get that damage beaten out and the door sprayed!

Took a few photos of my car as its the first time since i bought the car ive given it a full polish and seal! heres a few photos, sorry there driveway shots, i didnt have time to go out anywhere!!

Now i can see all the tiny dings and dents in the paintwork the front and rear bumper could both do with a respray but that can wait till they get really bad!! :thumbsup:

sorry to say but the Vtec DOHC sticker go half on the door half on the rear quarter

thanks for the comments Well the civic is in the bodyshop now getting the LH side all fixed up! its been nearly a year with the red door it will nice to be all the same colour again! other than that just alloys really! ive spent loads on this car and its nice to see evrything pretty much sorted!! im gonna try and spend as little as possible now and just get out there and enjoy it!!

Heres a few photos of the blue door!!

Took my new alloys to the garage this mornin nice and early to get them fitted

The OEM alloys where badly corroded and all the paint was starting to flake off! im keeping them for winter wheels for later in the year

New alloys :thumbsup:

They looked more anthricite in the box but when the sun hits them they go a nice goldy colour! much like my
2.2 civic paint!!
