Alex Motorsport adjustable rear spoiler brackets


that backyard special one isnt Adjustable is it? Just looks like blocks
 
yeah im really wanting the adjustable ones, Varying angle depending on mood ;) Hahah
 
thanks for the pics johnny. i dont know about this one, takes away from the stock look of the car. would only be worth it if you could adjust it from the way it is stock, to the way its jacked up on johnny's EK.
can you do that with these brackets?
 
As said,, it does take away the stock look. Thats why i sold mine. HOwever, saying that, i think they really suit Johnny ek9s 9 :nice:
 
Thanks folks, I dont have them on my car at the minute, i running a gt wing now.

As for the BYS ones, they are no longer avalible, some websites do still advertise them, but they are discontinued now, definately.
I spoke to backyard about this, and they will do a limited run of 30 sets if there is the correct demand. Myself and spockrocker from Memoryfab.com had a group buy set up on honda-tech.com, there was interest, but was impossible to get 30 names......so i guess thats it :(

Babyface, I just wanted the bys ones because no-one had them,haha, never ever saw a set on any other car except backyards EK9. Just thought it would be nice to match the bumper. I do like my alex brackets, and i'll never sell them, even when the EK9 is sold, they are just one of those things that are nice to have,lol. The bys ones art more oem and tidy looking, and if i ever come across a set i will snap them up!

Thanks dude, you keeping your car now?

I have another photo shoot on saturday, think i'll run the alex brackets for this one,haha. this thread has inspired me, I liked them on my car, i think its the front bumper that makes it flow better, i guess thats why parker sold his at that time. Its a bit to much if the rest of the exterior is standard.

when i installed them, something was missing, and i narrowed it down to the bys bumper and the arc winglets ;P :p
Keeping the car now fo sho. ;)
found new inspiration/interest :p

sorry guys for the late reply but it's been a while since i last logged in.
all i did was i emailed alex motorsport asking the cost for the brackets & shipping & i got an answer in a couple of hours with all the details of his rep in Cyprus. i called the guy & he had them for me in 2 weeks!
To install the brackets you have to take off the spoiler & it's base (the black part between the spoiler & boot) & just bolt them on. it not a real looker from straight behind, but from the front & side it's a real beast!!! :nice: i'll post some pics asap. :drive:
