I don't have a clue how to remove I notice their are two valves one showing a L and another showing H, inside its a shraeder type valve and when depressed it dissipates pressure, when this is done the silver canister starts freezing so I have stopped everything and just need advice on how to remove it properly,

any help at all will be very much appreciated :)

cheers, Craig.

mate just smash it with a hammer a couple of times :nice:

should do the trick

It needs to be evacuated using the correct machine by a cirtified and trained technician/garage DO NOT spray into the atmosphere and DO NOT put any body parts on the way as it will be bloody cold and you will have ice burn! Just a word of warning ;) lol
Also the pump and other a/c parts should be removed by the garage.

now you tell me :nerv:

i was pure sniffing it n that lol
will this effect it in the future as i dissipated it slightly?

remove pulley belt

remove latter when you find someone that can

Weighs less (obviously) probably 10-15 kg less, and less drang on the engine so rev abit more freely not much of a difference to be honest, removing it is more for the petty modifier lol if your not tracking it there's no point really

officially take it to a garage to get de-gased and removed,
unoffically take the bolt off the ac pipe that connected to the rad and slap it with a wrench or hammer and run! be sure to cover the other bits of your engine bay though as that stuff is horrid and toxic! good luck! :nice:

its going to a garage now people lol

tbh, i wouldn't waste your money. just do what i've posted all you'll be fine. just make sure to clean everything up after! no point paying a garage £50 odd to do it!

i would agree with elchunk craig to do it oursleves but just to be on the safe side £50 seems the safer option rather than a trip to the hospital hahaha :p
