AEM engine management system for sale, used. I did 6,000 miles on this ECU before switching to Hondata and re-tuning with the S300.

Perfect condition excluding a minor scratch (almost 1cm across) on the back.

Comes in the box with Software/manual, data-link lead, Brand new UEGO connector for feeding wideband in. with all new pins included. Including velcro strips.

original receipt included for approximately £1100 from 4-5months ago when purchased. (Still under warranty)!

This is the newest version of the AEM EMS. :nice:

£800

Sorry to invade your thread but do you find the aem or hondata a better ems??? Ps gl with sale good price...

The AEMs main benefits over the hondata is theres alot more inputs on it and its got alot more options.
The hondatas benefits is theres a lot of factory hardware contorl built in like for idleing the engine etc. whereas youd set cavitation tables/graphs in the AEM to make control the fuel compensation & air compensation. Whereas the hondata just has tables to do the same thing. The hondata knows every OBD1 pin on the loom so all the inputs are easily ID'd at a glance when yo look at the sensors table. Other benefits of the AEM include the auto-gbox control and the datalogging is very good with statistical breakdown. Hondata doesnt support auto boxes and currently dont give stats with the datalogs, although Hondata has boost by gear wheras AEM has boost by speed.

They both have their benefits. Theyboth do pretty much the same. When theyre tuned they'd both perform prettymuch the same. i guess the main thing woulf be preference of the tuner whos going to set it up. AEM/(is technically a rebranded OMEX/GEMS ecu!:nice:) is highly regarded as being top quality but so is Hondata.

Its a matter of preference and or maybe bragging rights I guess.

Theyre manufacturers that have been around longer than the AEM EMS has been out. Aparently AEM softeware is actually the OMEX software (its identical!) and gems GEMS - General Engine Management Systems Ltd - Engine Management Systems
theyve been making EMS systems for YEARS! I was told by somone very knowledgable that they had a hand in the AEM EMS.

As for AEM being like MoTeC, id never compare them! Motec even has GOS telemetry accessories that maps out the racetrack your on, works out your timeing and speed through bends so you can see where you can go faster!.. you can re-tune MoTeC from the pits as its racing via its special accessory datalink. MoTeC is the worlds best, undoubted. None of the other manufacturers offer everythign in one package like they do. But theyre much too expensive for a road car unless you have plenty of spare cash for the complete basic system

AEM also has the telem, its built into the current box but they are still working on the softwear... Oooops i think that was supposed to be a secret....
