Advise on choosing camshafts Skunk2 Pro2 or Pro3

Hi Guys,

I need advise on choosing camshafts for my setup. I have to choose between Skunk2 PRO2 and PRO3. The car is only for track days so I don't care much for idle. My setup is as follows:

B18C-R engine:

Block - stock bore and stroke
CP pistons - CR 12.5:1
Cometic head gasket - thickness depends on the CR I'm going

Head:

Camshafts - Skunk2 PRO2 or PRO3? I need advise here
Valvetrain - Skunk2 Pro series valvetrain
Replica Tri-Y Header - 2.5" or 3.0" I need advise also?
B18C Intake Manifold - most probably I will change it for ITBs later


Basically I need advise which cams to choose. The CR will vary according to the cams I choose, most probably it will be over 12.5:1.

Are the PRO3 will be too big for 1.8L? Can I take the full potential of them with this setup?

If someone used PRO3 in their setups I will be thankful to share some experience and with what setup ran them.

Pro2 are great cams for the track and street. If you want max power and only drive on tracks days go for Pro3´s, they are big cams and needs alot of cr.. check valve to piston clearance and make sure you got good cooling, more hp = more heat and wear.

Pro2 works well with 1.8L, great powerband.
