A/c light flashing

Hi guys! Got a wierd one for ya! When im driving at around 70 in 5th gear and put the accelerator all the way to the floor the green aircon light fashes some times a steady flash and sometimes a very inconsistant flash some fast and some slow, ive looked at the battery terminals and the earth was slightly loose so that got nipped up but its still doing it any ideas?

loose connection on the ac somewhere or behind the dash?
 
sounds like the vibrations are cause the loose connection to come on and off like previously said.

Only way is to get in behind and chase the wire and check it all :nice:
 
Right i noticed today as the car was baking inside i put the fan on full wack and the fan is acctually cutting out which in turn is turning off the air con so the air con is irrelivent to the fault, im probably guessing that when i put the head unit in i may have snagged a wire and either partly pulled the plug out or damaged a wire, i shall remove it tomorrow and have a gandas :)
 
That sounds about right.....also possibly check for a dodgy fuse? Let us know how you get on :run:
 
Well, it seems to be fixed :) BUT while i was there thought i would see why my horn wasnt working and turns out that i need the squib which is located behing the steering wheel and has a ribbon cable inside it which runs the airbag and horn cables, have a guess how much Honda want for it......

Ok so still not fixed the problem, ive currently got the centre console removed and the heater controls just resting in the hole in the dash so i can fiddle when the fault happens, ive noticed its the whole heater control system thats turning on and off heated rear screen a/c and re cerc also the heater fan, i think mabe the alternator may be surging but i have no way of testing this as i have no way of getting live data readings! It only does it when the accelerator is in a cirtain possition and at a cirtain speed.... I have acces to auto electricains but would like to not spend the money on one lol any help would be much appreciated :)
