Does anyone know of any 60mm or more lowering springs? i currently have 45mm spax lowering springs matched to spax shock absorbers however after being at the meet on saturday i want to go abit lower :D

ive just recently paid out for the shocks so not really wanting to go and buy coilovers but cant seem to find any springs lower than 50mm!, would be looking for around 60mm at least to see the difference.

you dont wanna be lowering that much, you will change teh geometry of teh car too much and handling will suffer

only one that i know of:

H&R RACE SPRINGS: CIVIC 96-00
part# HR-51865-8
Lowers vehicle 2.5" front & 2.3" rear.

2.5" = 63.5mm
2.3" = 58.5mm

in my experience these springs SLAM the car, they go even a bit lower than when they are advertised and go the lowest out of all the springs i have ever installed.

the neuspeeds will lower your car by hell as well. the neuspeed race. Im using them, a little bit too low tbh

Thanks for that!, ive had a look online but cant seem to find anywhere in the uk that sells the H&R springs with that product code :angry:, do you know of anywhere blinx or even any US sites that would ship to the uk ?

jpar196 the neuspeeds sound good , had a look as well and can see them for the ep3 , have you got any links for them for a 1997 ek4?

thats a huge drop for any car....guess your goin for looks over handling. i had an eg civic that was probably dropped about the same ammount when it came into the country. on a perfectly smooth road it was great but hit any bumps etc and be ready for it to snap! lol

ditch the spax kit either way! all the kits i have used and felt by spax have given a terrible ride.

Theres a group buy opportunity for the Spoon springs at the moment. They only drop it about 20mm though.

the car handles well just now for what i use it for, i have stripped the back of the car a bit and this has made the car raise slightly but not loads , i would just like to remove the arch gap :nice:

If anyone has any links to and uk sites that would be great:D

PM me a reminder, i will see if i can find anybody... and yeah neuspeed go low too but hr ride better i think, car will still handle great!!

as far as i know the H&R springs designer is the ex neuspeed designer? they are both great springs in my opinion, if you dont mind the low ride height, they ride perfect, not harsh at all, and also handle quite well.
