5Zigen + Spoon n1

Not sure if anyone can answer this but I currently have a 5zigen exhaust fitted and I'm toying with replacing the rear silencer with a Spoon n1.

Are the joints all in the same locations on aftermarket systems or do they differ? Ideally I'll just keep the 5Zigen b pipe and fit the n1 to it if it's possible to do so.
 
you should be fine doing this asumming the B-pipe and cat/decat are JDM length i.e made for EK9 :) N1 would just be bolt on
 
Wont work I think .. 5zigen exhausts use flat flanges but the Spoon uses the oem style donut gasket flange at a smaller diameter.

x2 Correct.. Spoon uses the oem style flange and not the flat flange
 
So in short I'll have to either refit an OEM B-pipe with an N1 or buy the Spoon B-pipe as well as the rear silencer.
 
That's unfortunate. I guess I really need to hear a car with an n1 and spoon b pipe fitted in that case. I really don't like the look of the 5Zigen tailpipe/box but I don't actually mind the noise it makes. If I only needed the spoon n1 I'd have taken a punt on it and tried it but having to change the lot from cat back is more than I wanted to spend ideally.
