2nd opinion on braking scenario

I have posted this on another Honda forum, and have been advised to check the servo and the brake line between the inlet and servo.
The car is currently in the garage getting the clutch changed, so I will have a look when it's out. In the meantime, I'm after a 2nd opinion before I get the car back, in case anyone has any other ideas as to what it could be.

The following is copied from the other thread:

I'm unsure if there's a technical name for what I'm about to describe, hence I'm having difficulty finding any information on the 'net that would help explain it, so here goes:

For ease of explanation, let's say I'm approaching a roundabout at 50 mph with no other traffic for miles around, braking gently to take the roundabout in a non-aggressive manner.
With my foot lightly on the brake pedal; every time I drop a gear as the speed decreases, it feels like the pedal is drawn away from the bottom of my foot as the clutch engages and the engine braking takes over most of the effort to slow the car down.
Is this a normal experience, and is there a name for it?
I've only recently noticed that it occurs, but it could be perfectly normal and have happened since I started driving the car.

Could someone put my mind at rest please?

Thanks,
Rob

could be the servo getting more vacuum as the revs increase with each downchange making the pedal softer ?

its not normal

when you press the clutch with the car in neutral does the brake pedal move ?
