hey guys just curious about a 2 liter b16b cause my brother has a ek4 sedan swap with a b16b. And when I tested it, it is totaly different
Guys do you have any idea?? How to do that??

You can come close to 2L with an 85mm piston and b18c crankshaft.
This is costly as it will mean new sleeves in the block.

Jun make a stroker kit for b16b which takes it to 2ltr displacement. We tuned a EK9 some months ago with this stroker kit fitted, stroke measured 95mm. Made some impressive torque!

If im not mistaken BC also have a stroker kit which takes the b16b to almost 2.1ltr. There is an ek9 over here with such a kit and its a massive beast. Clocked impressive drag times locally as well as track times on Sicily tracks.

Could just be a b20 block
Not a b20 block,,its just like a regular b16b outside but when you drive it on low rpms it just sound like that there is something wrong but when you drive at high rpms it sounds good. Dont know what inside of it:angry2:

How do you mean something sounds wrong at low rpm? If the car isnt running right its best to get it checked out, we all can only speculate on here what its running with the little information you are giving us. It could just be a b16b with some work done to it and tuning or could have a stroker kit like the guys have mentioned. Whats even given you the idea in the first place that its a 2litre, you will only know by opening it up and measuring the crank. Im sure your brother must know what hes brought, all the best.

Crap low down, mint high revs. Sounds like a plain old B16B to me.

Where are you getting its 2L from? or are you just guesing?

you will only know by opening it up and measuring the crank

Just remove a spark plug, put cylinder 1 at TDC, put a plastic bar on piston top through the spark plug hole and move the crank manually to bottom position. Measure the difference on the plastic bar between top and bottom position and you'll know your stroke.

Roughly 1985cc how do you know it's a 82mm bore?
