For sale is my '96 Spec Dc2. One very clean example, I would challenge most to find one cleaner these days. I have owned this car just over a year now.

Original japan import disc's still on windscreen and rear boot glass.Comes with original Type R mats and still in very good condition.Red recaros are immaculate i have always used tailored type R seat covers.

I am happy enough to let any serious buyers view the car on a ramp underneath is seriously clean and solid i have nothing to hide

Always ran on super unleaded or bp ultimate

Car is always warmed up properly

Uses no oil.There is no rust and no gearbox crunches.V-tec crossover is very aggressive and pulls strong in every gear.Many others will claim similar, when in reality, I found this simply wasn't true when viewing others.

In short,I can guarantee that you would have to go very far and spend a serious amount of money to find better.

have too say i really like the car man seen it on donedeal would buy it only with the cost of the car and then the steep vrt (around 1000 i think) for it as i am in the republic of ireland i cant afford too damn u vrt

you can just say the car is worth 2800 euro and they cant charge you any more than 25% its a 97 car i dont think theyre going to check this, and theyre not going to ask for pictures to see what condition its in
they will see 97 teg R's going for 3000 on donedeal and say yeah ok that looks normal

how do you mean lad? it mostly goes by emissions not value i have found its the stupidist thing i have ever seen i can clear a 03 passat 130bhp sport for 400 euro but as soon as you add a petrol engine the price sky rockets i have cleared 3 cars now and have never had the option to choose its value only what i paid for it but that makes no difference to them they run it thorugh the system and find out its market value which is useually seriously over what they are worth just so they can charge a fortune just did a few vrt calculations online there and its comeing up as 904 euro to clear a 97 dc2 type r lol

No the emissions band decides the percentage of the car value at which the rate of tax is calculated! You need to ring revenue online and ask them, tell them the cars only worth 2600 and they can only charge u 25% of the market value of the car!
