Bit of a long shot but does anyone on here know whether there is anywhere I can get a set of 12 x 6 plates made up while I wait tomorrow? In the reading ish area.

I wouldn't have thought they'd make those dimensions and their website makes no mention of plates, may give them a call.

As for the ebay route that's little use when it's 19:42 and I need them tomorrow ;)

Halfords def make them (i work in one), just phone to check that they dont order them from somewhere else, the smaller shops dont make them as you wait, whereas the bigger ones do.

Local one do make plates on site but would have to order the size I want which is no use.

12x6 can be a pain to get as they were replaced a while ago with 13x7 and this is a much more common size and easier to get.... doesnt look half as good though ;)

i can get a pair made for around £10 over here, but not much use to you if you need them tomorrow morning!

I may have to give in for the short term and pick up a slightly larger pair just so I can get the car moved without attempting a 50 mile motorway drive without plates, lol. Thanks for the suggestions though gents.

Hey, how much is it to get them done in halfords?? And it's road legal I take it. Was thinking of getting some made in the future.

Well 330x165 (13x6.3) is the actual size of Japanese plates if that helps. I've always used Demon Plates due to their quality as I found the way they make the Halfords ones nit to be as good due to the separate letters that have a halo round them when they apply the back.

I was in Halfords the other time and while waiting I was looking through their car number plate book and it has "Import size", I cant remember the dimensions though.
