ek9 idle cold start b series srmsors

I'm sure this has been covered but I can't find a definite answer to what causes it when I start my ek9 it doesn't high rev to heat up the car it will shut straight of unless I rev it with the throttle and when I take my foot of more likely then not shut of and if it doesn't it idels so low it's...
