Finally managed to get the bushes fitted using a friends press :) Racing xs have agreed for me to return the unused rear lca bushes in return for a discounted set of hardrace items, quite impressed with racing xs seem to be very helpful.

That sounds like a good idea, better than how it is atm any way lol. Do you know were to get good springs from? Jesse, can you remember how far in your rta bushes were sitting when you measured them, i did read somewere that its about 12mm?

Another thing I didn't do then! I just took the bushes out without measuring so I have no idea how far in there supposed to be. Cheers for the advise on turning the bushes a bit :)

When you installed your rear trailing arm bushes how did you make sure that they went in completely true so that the mounting flange that goes through the centre of the bush sits flat to were it bolts to the car?

That's something I didn't know, I was always under the impression that Fwd cars are better suited to having the rear stiffer! Thanks for that, that's actually quite interesting

Do you run the rear stiffer than the front? Im not sure if there rebuildable, they might be but there only the ghas not the golds so not sure. Tbh the suspension on this car looked like it had been pulled out of the sea lol, not sure weather to just save up for new dampers etc.

Il see what they say, but if they wont il hold onto them for a bit for you. Another thing ive noticed is that the springs on this car are 200lbs rear and 375lbs front, that doesn't sound right to me. I know its a different car but my dad runs 600lbs rear and 450lbs front on his alfasud race...

Il give that a try then lol, i feel like torching this damn car! Maybe the seller might take back the rear lca bushes in exchange for a discounted pair of hardrace lcas.
