Ok guys, here are some photos of my toy. I'm running 205 bhp and those are my modes:

K&N intake
DC-Sports 4-1 header
Magnaflow exaust
Buddy Club spec. 3+ cams
Buddy Club cam gears.
TODA clutch kitl with light flywheel.
310cc RC injectors.
Mungen gasget.
Eibach springs.

id say you wouldnt be too far behind an ek9.lol

i wish i had a sunroof.lol
 
nice like the way you have made the heat reflective sheild for the filter.

and if this is running 205bhp it will easy beat a std ek9

I've already lowered it 1 inch, I changed my springs to Eibach and I recomend. The handling is good but my next step will be a Kony yelow

have a look @ the suspension setup section in this forum, were you can see diff recommendations... :nice:

if you track you car much, look into an LSD for ur tranny... :drive:

whats the price of gallon in reals?

The problem here in Brazil is that the import taxes are huge, 70% of the total price with transportation included, so if you want to by something that's expencive and heavy your final cost will be enormous.

There are very few EKs here, realy hard to find one on the street. The 96 octane gas here, with 25% of alcohol, is 3.00 Reais a litre. It's +/- USD 8.00 for 1 gallon.
 
No the EK9 was not imported here, only a few VTI during the 90s.


well the '9' was only sold in Japan... any ek9 elsewhere is imported :D

i hve a ek4 aswell, here in gibraltar there only dc2's no ek9 :((

In Brazil, only in the early 90s that we were aloud to import cars, before them only cars made in Brazil. Since them most part of the imports were made by the factories that were already here, and for some reason Honda never tried to sell a 9. Of course that now you can import by your own but without the suport of the factory is very hard to find surplus pieces and to make the rotine maintenance.
 
Question, the European Ek4 has got 160 bhp, how do you gain a increase with 45 bhp with those specs?!

My engine is a B16a2 with 160bhp from factory, like in Europe. I listed my sepcs and showed my dynosheet, that's the "how". I think that your question should be "why", but for that I don't have an answer. Every time that you free your flow in a N/A engine your HP figures will incrise, but why it's 45bhp but not 20bhp or 60bhp I really don't know.
